Our new year

Happy New Year.

As we go into this new year, I am thankful for many things, my loved ones who have supported us as well as all of you who read my blog and cheer us on from social media. Thank you all and I hope you have enjoyed reading my post. I going to start this with a few things we have been up to along with so plans for this coming year.

So as you know we were traveling a lot over Christmas and we spend up until the 5th of January in margate. It was nice to spend quality time with Ben's family and all the kids. Playing board games with all the adults in the evenings. It was so lovely to see the bonds forming with Ariyah-Mai and her cousins. Although I had just haved surgery, unable to do too much it is nice that we had so many people around to help with her and help Ben out.

Ruby was the best she played with Ariyah, help bath and get her dressed, she would rock her and sing to her. Then she even pick her up carefully and place her on my lap because I could not pick her up. There was one morning at like 7am where Ariyah was crying. Ruby sat with her rocking her and singing. Ben asked if he should take her which she replied 'No I've got this.' It was very cute. Ruby is the only girl out of the young ones in her family until Ariyah-Mai arrived, I think she is excited to have another girl to play with. I can't wait to watch their bond grow as they grow up together. Charlie even surprised us as he is not interested in babies being a 3 year old boy, who until now was the baby of the family. Despite this he wanted to help too. He even put her dummy back in when she cried and a few time when he thought no one was watching, we caught him talking and tingling her. She loved laying in her snuggly Teddy bed, watching them all play. She was fascinated by them all.

During this week away, we had a new years day family dinner, board games and drinks. We also went out for Tina's birthday where Harry, Jax and Stan met Ariyah too. These are our nephews in law, from vicky's side.

We had a lovely time, Ariyah got very spoilt and got lots of attention but we are now happy to be home. Especially with me still resting Ben has been amazing looking after us both.  All the while trying to sort the house out.

Our future plans for 2020

This year our main concentration is our daughter, ensure she is happy, health and developing well, she is getting so big now I can't believe how fast it goes. We just want to ensure a better life for her.

This includes our big plan to move this summer. We are looking to move to Kent as this would mean we were closer to family and friends who are all down that way. It is also to get out of London, get a bigger place, like a house with a garden so that Ariyah has more room to grow up. Also just to have a better life, by getting out of busy London where crime is so strife. We do not want her attenting school here in London and the young she is the better for us to move. Before she does start school, mets friends, being harder to go. Therefore I have been applying for teacher training job's. Ben will stay home with Ariyah after his matnerity finishes. Another reason is he don't have to worry about finding a new job straight away. This will be at least until she starts nursery or school. So at the moment we are just looking at areas and houses to get a better idea of what we are looking for. We are  starting to de clutter, sort and make the house more organised in order to make it easier when we move.

We have lots to look forward to, us moving, starting fresh, Ariyah-mai's exciting milstone in her first year of life. Her first tooth, laugh, roll, crawl, steps and word. Then celebrateing her first birthday.

In addition my aunts wedding, our best friends getting married, and just lots of family trips.

What are your plans? Comment and tell me any plans for this year, any worries or new year resolutions. I would love to here them.
